Error Msg: "ExtAudioFileDispose failed" ?

Post by knobs » Mon Feb 13, 2006 2:54 am

I'm trying to convert some M4A AAC files to MP3, but get this error message.
ExtAudioFileDispose failed

Any ideas?

Thanks

20 questions: :)
  • Does the converter window appear?
  • Is the file enqueued in the converter (shown in the list)?
  • Is there progress indicated for the conversion?
  • Does the encoder window appear?
  • Is the converted file enqueued in the encoder?
  • Is there progress indicated for the encoding?
  • Are there any messages written to the log?
Obviously some of these depend on the previous steps, but this should help narrow it down.

Core Audio Error

Nope, no windows no nothing, just that error message.
It occurs on files that I made by boucing from Logic Audio.
I have no problem converting files originally imported by iTunes AAC, only my own files.
