Changed ID3 tag doesnt seem to kepp on rip?

Post by topcat » Tue Jun 27, 2006 4:23 pm

I had this prob a few times now where the tag info Max downloads in wrong or incomplete so I wish to alter it. If I change the name of the album or artists and then select all and rip, once I finish with my mp3s, they still contain the original tags that downloaded, the edited ones just dont stick?

Any ideas, and does this happen to other people?

no, it sounds silly, but thats what i didnt do. Its because use to itunes where you make changes and then click rip and it keeps the changed info. Thanks though seem to be working now!

I've experienced the same problem, but it's usually due to me not moving the cursor from the text field before clicking "Encode".
You can edit the CD title and tab over to the artist field and then click encode and it will have the correct title.
