How to "add output files to iTunes" and no other folder?

Post by memphiskat » Sat Feb 28, 2009 2:29 pm

Hello
I am using MAX to convert FLACs to ALAC. I have in Preferences/iTunes tab/"add output files to iTunes library" checked.
I would like the output files only go to my iTunes library, but I must select an additional location under Prefereces/Output for
the output files to go to, resulting in duplicate output files. Is there anyway to have the files only go to itunes?

Thanks!

I'm sorry you still haven't even gotten one response. Though the only answer is that you must still point max to your iTunes folder. The reason is that many folks don't have their music sorted that way. Keep in mind "adding to iTunes Library" and to iTunes music folder are tow separate things.

I only answer because I stumbled upon your post while trying to find out about another issue I've just come across after not using Max for too long a time. I'm finding another kind of quiet as regards that issue.

We must realize Max and its siblings are not commercial software with implied support, though some of us have donated.
