Pull tags from a .txt file

Post by twins8791 » Mon Jun 09, 2008 2:23 am

I use Max for converting live concerts from FLAC to mp3. These concerts come with a .txt file that has all the metadata information. On XP, I used Foobar 2000 and the Traders Friend plugin to do this. Is anyone familiar with Traders Friend? Is there any way to get this same functionality out of Max or Tag?

Thanks!

Right now the only way to work this with Max would be to use AppleScript. I'm no AS wizard myself, so I can't really say more than that.

Please submit a trac ticket with an enhancement request if this is a feature you would like to see.

There's an Applescript that can do this in iTunes:

I've used it, and it worked nicely. With the appropriate changes, could this work in Max and/or Tag?

At first glance it seems that this script could be modified to work with Max.
