where are the ripped files ?

Hi there
trying out Max...
Is there a way to ripp without encoding and using the ripped files later ?
I tried to leave the encoder options blank, and Max was actually doing something ( ripping ? ), but I couldn't find the temp files...
Thanks for help
best

Use libsndfile's "raw headerless" format, or WAV, AIFF, FLAC, or any other PCM audio format. The intermediate files are for internal use and not for general consumption. They contain no metadata and are not guaranteed to be in any specific format.
