Max encoded MP3s acting funky in WMP

Post by dubdrop » Wed Sep 05, 2007 5:16 pm

For some reason MP3s that I encoded using Max are showing up in Windows Media Player (on a PC) as being several hundred minutes long, yet they appear correctly in iTunes. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Perhaps WMP is not reading the Xing/LAME header if you've made VBR MP3s?
