WavPack

Post by kenoli » Mon Aug 27, 2007 11:10 am

I have a WavPack file in which all tracks of a cd were compressed into one WavPack file. I translated it using Max into an Apple compatible mp4 file where all the tracks remained joined in one file. Is there any way to extract the tracks as separate files?

I'm working on adding this to Max as we speak. Right now the functionality is about half there, but is not committed to svn. Hopefully in a few more weeks I will have things working.

Fantastic! In the mean time, do you know of any other Mac software that does this?

If you have a cue sheet you can use XLD, but if you don't, there are a plethora of command-line tools to try. I would start with SoX or Audacity.

Great. I'll check this out and look forward to your changes to MAX in a few weeks.

Great piece of software, by the way.
