seems to be happening a lot towards the end of decoding. usually when ripping is done and maybe 3-4 songs are left for decoding.

any ideas how to fix this?

Nobody else has this problem? Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

I'm using a powerbook.

threading issues

Post by sbooth » Fri Jan 06, 2006 8:36 pm

It turns out that the way Max updates the status from the worker threads might not be thread safe. I am looking into this issue; the crashes are actually occurring in system code that is supposedly thread-safe, but doesn't seem to be. I will post more as soon as I have an idea what is going on.
