processing delay

Post by HiLoc » Mon Jan 20, 2014 5:14 pm

Hi,
I have to use compress destructive format for a job

I'm working with Avid ProTools on Mac and I did some check about the sound, by re-import in my daw I've found a delay as 671 sample from the original start point of the sound.

I suppose that's the conversion who's generate this.

My question is, is it always the same in Max.

.wav or .aiff (16 or 24 bits@44.1 interleaved) to mp3 or aac
I can do in Pro Tools, 24 bit to mp3
