Re: Instructions on playlist

It sounds like you may be using the app store version of Decibel. There is an issue with the OS X sandbox that prevents files from being saved; I've fixed it for the new version (1.3.2) which has been submitted and should be available soon.

Re: memory play

The current implementation loads the next track in memory when the currently playing track finishes decoding. Based on buffer sizes and latencies the amount of time before the current track ends when this occurs varies but is normally around 1/3 second. It is certainly possible depending on the file...

I agree that an Advanced view would be a valuable feature. I'm looking for a way to implement it cleanly.

Re: Can't Register

The older versions use a different licensing scheme. They use a special file instead of a user name and registration code. If you need a license for the older copy please contact me directly and I'll manually create one.

Re: Yosemite 10.10 Compatibility

It seems the problem relates to having two folders inside the app containing resources, one called English.lproj and one called en.lproj . I think this is only an issue on systems that aren't using English as the default locale. I'm guessing that Mac OS X falls back to English.lproj for files that a...

Re: How to register

In this script Should I include the quotations or leave them off? also "your license name" was not provided in the email. Is it my first and last name? Do I include ""? The quotes should be included- they delineate strings that have spaces or special characters for the shell. A typical license emai...

Would you mind posting the cue file's contents? Do the files themselves contain any metadata?

Re: difference in SFBAudioEngine versions

The easiest way to search for differences is on Github- you can get a diff file between the two revisions that will show all code changes. The code for 1.2.11 is at https://github.com/sbooth/SFBAudioEngine/tree/31a1c58abccbfd1c8041b76a5508e2f4a649f485 and the code for 1.3.1 is at https://github.com/...

Re: License key

The license file is saved in ~/Library/Application Support/Decibel/. It's easiest to find using spotlight to search for a file with the .decibel-license extension.

Re: No sound playing DFF files

Is the equalizer not flat? The equalizer is not compatible with DoP because it alters the DoP bitstream such that it isn't recognized by the DAC.

Re: How to register

I recently switched the licensing scheme from a license file to a license code and apparently I missed this portion of the registration process. You haven't missed anything. I will fix this issue in an update soon, but for now you can add your license to the Keychain manually by using Terminal.app (...
