No issues updating here.
Sparkle noticed about a new version, then downloaded, installed and restarted with no issues at all.

Re: Compiling Rip -> Errors

Thanks, I see.
Copied Frameworks from Rip.app to the source directory, but it still errors out. "Just" 25 failures against 32 last time though.

I will try to patiently wait until everything needed is checked in though. :wink:

Compiling Rip -> Errors

I pulled a fresh revision 457 from Launchpad . Then try to build using GCC 4.2.1 and 10.5 SDK (Xcode 3.1.2) on Intel, both using Xcode (GUI) and xcodebuild (command line). But all attempts fails with multiple errors. Anyone able to help me towards a successful build? Thanks! :wink: ** BUILD FAILED *...

Re: Any news?

Thanks Stephen,
1.0b4 seems to work smoothly for me so far. Ripped a handful CD's, in various conditions, to Apple Lossless without a single glitch.

Great work! :D

Re: Any news?

Woah! Just noticed you had released a new build, 2 months after the previous one... ..and my wishes have been heard, since it now have custom file naming. Thanks a lot! :D Its now open-source as well. I wonder why you switched to Bazaar though, and not stick to Subversion which you use for Max, Play...

Any news?

A month have passed since last post. Hence I wonder if there are any news, development progress, or like?
Especially related to custom output file naming, which is the non-existing feature preventing me from using Rip as my audio CD ripper...

Thanks! :)

Re: krmathis' impressions....

1.0b3 rip successfully to Apple Lossless (where both b1 and b2 failed...). Will need to rip more than one CD to tell if its fully stable, but at least I got a successful rip. :D With some custom output file naming options, like Max, it would be about all I need. http://rip.uservoice.com/pages/genera...

Re: krmathis' impressions....

Sorry for not leaving much feedback. Its just that I have had no luck ripping to my only audio codec so far, Apple Lossless that is. 1.0pb1 crashed every single time, while 1.0pb2 hang up OS X completely (have to force a power down). I have faith that Stephen fix those issues and come up with a usab...

Re: ALAC crashes on b2 - a most amazing crash

I ran into the same system take-over with B2 ripping to ALAC.
Around track two the who system became completely unresponsive. Unable to switch applications, or even kill one.

So had to force quit Mac OS X. :(
